A little comment on this part

“And yes, OMG, no one is even kind enough to stand up and give me their seat. No gentleman that day, I stand up from the start of NLEX up to the Marilao Exit. Am I being the gentlewoman? Whenever there’s an old person even a male on a Bus who doesn’t have a seat, I normally stand up for them. I think guys in the Philippines forgot the term “Gentleman”.”

Well, Gender equality killed Chivalry (Being a gentleman). When ladies told the world that they can do whatever a man can do and let them run in political offices, gave them a chance for a job, and everything else, we (men) thought that If man can stand in buses, open their own doors, pull their own chairs in restaurants and wait in queues, then maybe women can do that too. So please don’t tell me that this time you need a gentleman.

But for the older people, its another story. LOL,

Nice story by the way. and maybe, see you in some games I play.

If I was part of the embassy’s hiring team, I won’t get this person as Consul. He doesn’t have the so-called “intuition.” He can’t tell who’s telling the truth and who isn’t. I applied for B1 and got denied because I wasn’t able to establish that I’ll only be staying in US temporarily and that I don’t have strong family ties here.

What the heck! I am a single parent and if not just because of this job — I won’t be applying for US Visa. I don’t have plans of settling there nor I don’t want to be an absentee parent to my kid. I am doing well here (financially wise) so not in my wildest dreams do I plan to stay there for good. Never.

My ego got bruised. However, I feel sorry for him because I’ll be applying again soon… hoping not to see his face anymore.
