How to get a Student License Permit in the Philippines
Qualifications:
1. Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
2. Must be physically and mentally fit to operate a motor vehicle.
3. Must be able to read and write the local dialect, Filipino or English
Requirements:
1. Original and photocopy of birth certificate. You can use your NSO. In the absence thereof, any of the following:
- a. Joint Affidavit of two (2) disinterested persons who know the applicant and who can attest to his/her age and identiy accompanied by non-availability of record from NSO or the local civil registry office.
- b. Any legal document to prove his/her age and identity such as GSIS, SSS, passport, or any government issued documents.
2. For applicants below 18 years old, parent’s or guardian’s written consent with photocopy of ID card to prove his identity.
3. Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN), If EMPLOYED.
4. Dully accomplished Application for Driver’s License (ADL) form.
Venue: Any Licensing Center or District Office

Student Permit (SP) Fee Php. 150
Application Fee 100
Computer Fee 67.83
TOTAL Php 317.63
First, you need to go the LTO office as early as possible. It doesn’t take so long to process a Student License and you don’t need to talk to any fixers. Go to the 1st window and show your requirement(s). After verifying your valid I.D. the personnel will give you an application form. Fill them out.
After filling out the application form, return it to the next window and wait for your name to be called in the Cashier. After payment, sit down to the waiting area and wait for your name to be called for Image Capturing and electronic signature. Stand by again and wait for the releasing.
Then, after waiting for 10 minutes to 1 hour (depends on what time you arrived in LTO), they will release your Student License.

no need if student license lang
If you’re not working yet, then you don’t need to have a TIN. Ok na NSO, saka kung my school ID ka din mas ok ^.^

My eldest son who is just 14 years of age (3rd year high-school) insist that we allow him to drive a motorcycle going to school telling us that some of his classmates are going to school either with motorcycles or cars all by themselves. I was just wondering, if the legal age to get a license is supposedly 16yrs of age, is there such thing as “special procedure” or with parents consent that 14yr olds may be able to acquire driving license at this age?

Dun po ba sa either non~pro or pro license? Bring around 1500 pero I know it’s less than that, nakalimutan ko lang po nyung pricing

ask ko lang sna, dati akong ofw, wla akong license d2 sa phil, then nkpag abroad ako at nkakuha ng drivers license abroad, but now, back to pinas nko at gs2 ko sna mag apply ng drvers license d2, tanong ko mag-apply ba ako ng student license or pwde ko ipalit ung license id frm abroad d2 sa pinas?

Di na kasi ako nag aaral eh, pano pag wala akong ID or Student ID at 18 na ako kukuha pa rin ba ako ng student license o pwede na ko sa professional license? kahit walang student? Motor nga pala akin. salamat.

Pwede naman po, inquire nalang po kayo sa office ng LTO para ma-assist din sya.
Kailangan po mag pa student permit muna, before ka mag jump sa Prof license. Kung my NSO or nbi ka, pede na po yun as your ID

Pwede po kahit saan kumuha ng Non-pro, mga 3 months po pwede na kayo kumuha ng license ^.^ basta non-pro lang
hindi po pwede nyung anak niyo, pero pwede po kayo, kuha nalang muna kayo student permit, then after few months, pwede na kumuha ng non-pro or pro. Pero mga 6 mos po yata before ka pwede kumuha ng pro. compare sa non-pro, 3 mos lang
